This is my first video and it´s me and some friends drifting on a plowed track on a frozen lake in Sweden.
I made the mistake of making it to long but it was not intended as a youtube clip from the start.
Let me know what you think.

We have rally icetires which gives gravel type of grip

Even if you had the climate, a bunch of concerned citizens would form a group, and the government would listen to this tiny group and the activity would be banned for being: dangerous, causing global warming, leading to bullying, adding to anti-social behaviour, encouraging crime, causing mild worry to emotionally fragile children etc... or am I being a cynic...

Of course it´s banned!

But with so many lakes as there is in sweden and a bit out in the woods nobody cares, especially if there´s no houses nearby.

Ice driving are rather hard on the engine as you have constant full throttle, a bit like speedway.

Some of the close driving are harder than i looks, especially with 100kg cameraman in the boot!

The video has several flaws as it´s my first, all sound was edited on my laptop so when i watched it on the tv with normal speakers everything sounded different :( There is also some blur on the youtube version, probably from having different numbers of pics per second.
Several ideas that i had in my head didnt work out as planned but it´s not easy as i am limited to the material that was filmed.

A better camera is on the wishlist but probably i will need a better computer to edit HD film so maybe it´s better not to buy any!

A full width seat in those days made it a sleeper cab.

Frank's gonna need a few tissues after watching this.

Impressive though...

Practical Performance Car (PPC) magazine, a monthly publication aimed at real car enthusiasts, with real-world cars. At PPC we pride ourselves in providing the most entertaining, informative and inspiring features for petrolheads everywhere. Each month we feature an eclectic mix of affordable performance cars, great driving adventures and world-class technical features for the DIY tuner.

Everyone who works on the magazine is a dyed-in-the-wool car enthusiast and this is reflected in the cars we drive and the topics we write about. Whether it be fast road, track-day or grass roots motorsport you’ll find it in PPC. Our editorial team is headed up by well known editor Will Holman. Will has a deserved reputation for his ’stick a V8 under the bonnet’ attitude to life and has had (and crashed/ had stolen/ rusted away) enough cars to fill a monthly magazine on his own. His editorial team is stacked with experience with the likes of Dave Walker (speciality engine management), of the sadly-missed Car and Car Conversions magazine, David Vizard, the legendary engine tuning guru, and Kevin Leaper (speciality buying cars in pubs) – ex technical editor of Practical Classics. Have a look at the Staff Cars and features to give you a flavour of PPC but for the real thing get along to your local WH Smiths or independent newsagent. PPC is on sale on the last Thursday of every month.
