Hi I am having a clearout - I'm emigrating and some stuff just can't come including my PPC Mags.

Some early issues used to go for quite a bit on eBay - but it would seem that those days have gone!

Issue 2 June 2004 http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/280857571226? ... 1555.l2649

Issue 4 August 2004 http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/280857577731? ... 1555.l2649

Issue 5 September 2004 http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/280857579218? ... 1555.l2649

Issue 6 October 2004 http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/280857581159? ... 1555.l2649

Issue 7 November 2004 http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/280857582861? ... 1555.l2649

I've loads more, but ran out of enthusiasm for the whole process..

Interesting, those are pretty much the only PPC issues I don't have, I'll keep an eye on those.

You don't happen to have the one about putting a K series in a Midget / Sprite do you?

I've snapped all those up thanks, looking forward to giving 'em a read. Nice to have for the collection too, they'll only be several issue I won't have after I've received these. :)

I'll post up a list of the remaining mags, and cut out the middle man that is ebay..

I should make it to the post office tomorrow.

I don't suppose you know which issue number or date the k series into midget mag was? (if I start flicking through them to look for it, I'll get nothing done tonight..)

Nice one, cheers.

No, I'm not sure which issue had the K series into Midget article off the top of my head, I vaguely recall it though. I'll have a quick squint tonight if I remember.

It would be great if someone could cobble together a spreadsheet listing every PPC feature published with the corresponding issue number. It would be interesting to see many times certain topics have been repeated!

If we work on £1.50 per Mag, and postage TBC as yet since I've not worked out how much the thieving b*stards that run the Royal Mail will now want to post a simple (but admittedly heavy) magazine. Plus I need to find some sturdy envelopes in the office stationery cupboard.
But let me know if you want first dibs in specific ones..

I'm not claiming they are all mint, but they've not been kicked around the floor!

Neil.

It turns out the post office want almost £1.50 to post each mag. I sent off 5 in a box today and that cost £7.62, so it's not as if they get cheaper in bulk either..

At least I found some suitable envelopes!

May 2005 is the one for the Midget K series issue. I'm only aware of it thanks to a guy mentioning it on his KMidget blog!

And I see that is on the list! I've got a couple of earlier ones and if Kieran isn't grabbing them there are a few others I'd be after.

At PPC we pride ourselves in providing the most entertaining, informative and inspiring features for petrolheads everywhere. Each month we feature an eclectic mix of affordable performance cars, great driving adventures and world-class technical features for the DIY tuner.

Everyone who works on the magazine is a dyed-in-the-wool car enthusiast and this is reflected in the cars we drive and the topics we write about. Whether it be fast road, track-day or grass roots motorsport you’ll find it in PPC. Our editorial team is headed up by well known editor Will Holman. Will has a deserved reputation for his ’stick a V8 under the bonnet’ attitude to life and has had (and crashed/ had stolen/ rusted away) enough cars to fill a monthly magazine on his own. His editorial team is stacked with experience with the likes of Dave Walker (speciality engine management), of the sadly-missed Car and Car Conversions magazine, David Vizard, the legendary engine tuning guru, and Kevin Leaper (speciality buying cars in pubs) – ex technical editor of Practical Classics.
