I've been reading PPC for a few years now after I picked up a copy at a mates house and boy has it opened my eyes to not only a world of oppertunity but some cracking wit too!
Anyway I've deceided to join the ranks as I've got an interesting project I'm going to need some help & inspiration with.
I do a lot of mountain biking and motorbike trackdays so its only sensible that I get myself a pick up truck. It'd certainly be more practical than my tired old Alfa 155!
The problem is that most pick ups are rubbish(excluding that Holden monaro thingy!)
So what I intend on doing is turning a car (with a reasonable wheelbase) into a pick up. Something like a Volvo 850 T5 maybe? (I've always been a fan of touring cars)
I'll start a tread for this in the relevent place soon.

So you want to build summat like this?
BMW M5 Pick Up!!!
I've always fancied building a 750iL Pick up...
You can get a 750iL off the bay for about £500.
Or this 1 for under £900 (just out of test)
