I sold a 2ltr Pinto with 4 speed box for £75 a couple of months ago, which was about scrap price. I was fed up of tripping over it!

I think you may be a few lobes short of a (knocking) camshaft

Pintos with a good spraybar never knock... I blame it on being exposed to club rallying at a young age and growing up around tuned Pintos... childhood scarring

My poor Fester was sitting very low when I collected the engine and box, as I also had two friends with me for the spin... one even helped lift it in...
