Mitsubishi Colt Evo 4x4

what do you have an how are you doing it? Cars or trick bits, put your shots up here.

Hi guys - 1st post on here - borrowed some mags off a mate! Very good read like - most impressed! Anyway here is my little project car and a quick rundown on what it is...
Started life as a 1.6 colt and i began to mod it using parts off an evo i was breaking. I fitted engine, box, suspension, brakes, interior, fuel tank etc... and ran it fwd using a viscous coupling eliminator but it destroyed the gearbox so i then set about converting it to 4x4. I have nearly finished now with just a few jobs to do - i have ditched the interior now and its fully stripped, with safety devices cage, got fuel lines and new brake lines to fit and need to send prop off to get shortened.
Anyway pics...
Image an old pic before it was all painted showing blended wings etc...

Nice stuff, that boot floor looks right tidy, it'd fool a lot of people into thinking it's original.
I like this sort of stuff when it's done right. I've seen a few abandoned prjects in the scrappy & thought nice idea but with that workmanship I'm glad you never got it on the road!

His editorial team is stacked with experience with the likes of Dave Walker (speciality engine management), of the sadly-missed Car and Car Conversions magazine, David Vizard, the legendary engine tuning guru, and Kevin Leaper (speciality buying cars in pubs) – ex technical editor of Practical Classics.
