Just had a thought (rare occasion)

Think you need a sound track to the night one.

The list is shaping up nicely - I'm just looking to see a Celica Turbo, Silvia Turbo and a Daihatsu Gtti added to the list for the Turbo camp.. Ooo - and a Lancia turbo of some sort - probably a Thema.(I loved reading about the Masser in last year's event, but doubt there'll be anyone brave enough to repeat that..)
Uno turbo sounds inspired.

And maybe an Alfa 164 (are there any Q4 ones left?!) or 75 3.0, a 205Gti or two and maybe a rough as hell BMW 540i for the normally aspirated fans..

I owned a supra a year back. Great car!! Had full mongoose system and bleed.Sounded the best!! Ran around 300bhp. I joined the forum. Very soon learned why it seemed evryone on there kept going on and on about "BHG syndrome".
Thats "blown head gasket" to those not in the supra circles. Seems they all lurve to blow em. Good fortunes with the fix fellas. Would love to see one at the day.

ours hasn't blown yet, though my block tester is showing some leakage, when we bought the car it came with a new uprated HG in the boot so we are gonna fit that before we start playing silly buggers with the wastegate.....

It's actually got 2354 of Mazda's finest frenzied cc's!! [;)]

BTW - what's the Supra-Tanka tip the scales at? The RX weighs the same as a rusty paper clip. Oh and it revs past 8k [:0], anyone beat that?

We're hoping to get the lardy supra down to an even ton, with judicious use of the ankle grinder....

but with the hooge tourque of a blown 3litre 6 the weight shouldn't be much of a problem, got much tourque in that rotary washing machine of yours??? [:D][:D][:D][:D][:D]

anways we're both buggered if that nitroused bike engined reliant shows up....

Practical Performance Car (PPC) magazine, a monthly publication aimed at real car enthusiasts, with real-world cars. At PPC we pride ourselves in providing the most entertaining, informative and inspiring features for petrolheads everywhere. Each month we feature an eclectic mix of affordable performance cars, great driving adventures and world-class technical features for the DIY tuner.

Everyone who works on the magazine is a dyed-in-the-wool car enthusiast and this is reflected in the cars we drive and the topics we write about. Whether it be fast road, track-day or grass roots motorsport you’ll find it in PPC. Our editorial team is headed up by well known editor Will Holman. Will has a deserved reputation for his ’stick a V8 under the bonnet’ attitude to life and has had (and crashed/ had stolen/ rusted away) enough cars to fill a monthly magazine on his own. His editorial team is stacked with experience with the likes of Dave Walker (speciality engine management), of the sadly-missed Car and Car Conversions magazine, David Vizard, the legendary engine tuning guru, and Kevin Leaper (speciality buying cars in pubs) – ex technical editor of Practical Classics. Have a look at the Staff Cars and features to give you a flavour of PPC but for the real thing get along to your local WH Smiths or independent newsagent. PPC is on sale on the last Thursday of every month.
