I thought me and my new oap softop were in for a real slating.
just neen a T16 turbo and PG1 lsd now.
found a few forums discussing it. but no one who has done it yet.
'Apparantly' the entra 45 kg or so wil really unset the handling of the car.
No one seem to mention the entra 80bhp upseting the handling.

The folk telling you the extra 45kg of the engine will bugger the handling of course have some sandbags they put in the passenger seat for travelling solo to keep the handling the same as when they have a passenger?

Would it be better to repair the one i have, maybe turbo it, add a little nitrous, lsd ?
or kv6 perhaps (not very cheap tbh) and just as heavy as the T16

You've got to have a blat with it as it is before transforming it into an unfinished project!
I'd go with the T16 - you'll already have spent much of the cost of one fixing the HGF and a vvc has 60 bhp less that a T16. Plus it's cool and different. 45kg is nowt in a mid engined car - I trust it will be getting stripped any how. Surely 45 kg is about the difference between a fat bloke and a skinny bird anyway. Well one of them.......!

Yep the car will be lightened in some way. Do not know far as yet, but I am liking the look of the windscreenless prototype thingy.
I am far too easily swayed by those locost guys, they some some strange views on how to do things. They try and do things that work and handle, and are technicaly correct.
On the other hand, ppc blokes, go for the biggest engine they can get, throw it in, weld where it touches, add a turbo and nitrous.
So similar then [:D]

One small mark on the drivers bolster, touch of red leather dye required.
The rest of the car is shocking. Foutunately, a good friend of mine bought me a rechargable buffing type machine about two years back that has not ben out of the box yet. (don't do washing)
looks like it will be on charge, and aeuro canister of t-cut or colour magic ordered.
