He's tacked together the triangulated bracing to strengthen the area where I had to cut out the cross piece to get the gearbox in. He did complain that he was getting tired when using the junior hacksaw to cut the pieces to lenght

Both eng mounts are tacked in place ready to be seam welded now-

So thats you and Owelly who have kids that can weld while watching teletubbies. If I tried to weld those pieces it would look like a goose has been using the garage as a toilet

Did a quick trial fit of the front suspension before I start to paint the chassis-

Depends what engine you want to fit really. But either way, once the engine's in then that's the major part of the fabrication work done I think. I've got a load of prep and painting to do to the chassis and suspension next before I start to bolt some bits to it

This shot shows my tunnel mods to fit the BMW 'box, and an additional brace across the engine bay corner and passenger footwell-

Now it's primed up it's had to go back in the shed
