So then... What are you planning for this year?
Anyway Ive got a £35 ebay bargain nitrous kit sitting in the garage.
And I fancy a BMW 325TDS for scrap monies if I can find one.
Strip ALOT of weight out of it.
Swap to a full mechanical pump (none of this semi ECU bollocks).
Gov Mod.
BFOTurbo.
No wastegate.
FMIC off an Iveco Truck.

I'll be entering my Midget if I can get it MOT'd in time, will be a good first run out and gives me something to aim for. It won't be competitive, just getting there and back will make me a very happy man

It is an unusual place to start but its probably one of the most complex jobs on my build. Its a Bosch VE rotary diesel injection pump and most of the parts are interchangeable so I can put parts from various cars, trucks and vans in it to get stupid fueling.
It still hangs in the balance as to weather I can find a 325TDS cheap enough and get the time off work so well see

If it really has got 320bhp then it should be good for a 12.5-13.0 1/4 mile depending on how strict a diet it goes on

You'll have a blast, the trick is, don't take it too seriously
At the end of the day, it's a bunch of people thrashing cheap cars down a drag strip and round some cones, it ain't exactly F1
Will you be camping the night before?
If you are, come over to the forum marquee/shed, and say hi, we are a friendly bunch.
