Interestingly a friend of the OH used to be an accountant for Mr Al Fayed. She decided to leave as the wages didn't stack up to the work involved.

I can see a hole for a classic lookalike go-kart race series :think:

Imagine a grid packed with look alike D-types, auto unions, AC Cobras, 7s etc.

:lol: ... at those quoted speeds it would be racing around a Dodgem Track.... anything bigger and youd be getting laptimes like the 'ring :roll:

Hmmmmm.... :think:

TL1000 or VTR swap for the plastic cover?

Don't forget the Batmobile Totrod shell that was up for sale a few weeks ago. It would be like a junior "Legends" series. Much better for the spectators than the usual Formula Go-Kart racing. Could be onto something there Will. :thumbup:

Yeah it wouldn't be quick but if you used proper go-kart engines, they're about 25bhp, should give plenty enough speed :D

My old boss brought a non runner testarossa one for a grand, wasnt too bad underneath, but tbh being just over 6 foot i looked a cock in int, well more than usual....

What about a couple of Lexus LS600h motors and a battery. If the lardy lex can do 30mph with it you should be able to outrun a hot hatch with a bin lid on wheels
