PPC in the Park TV ad banned

UK authorities ban ad that "promotes damage to the environment."

We've been planning PPC in the Park for more than a year. In that time we've seen the economy fall through the floor and watched as small firms like our struggle to survive. We always planned a TV ad campaign on the Dave channel to make sure we got enough people along to Mallory Park on Saturday May 23. But now our tongue-in-cheek ad has been deemed "offensive." The authorities say we cannot run it because it "promotes damage to the environment." So will they stop Bernie Ecclestone promoting F1? We don't think so. Will airlines and holiday companies be taken off the airwaves? Unlikely. But we're just a small company so we've been targeted and our very livelihood - and those of our employees - threatened.

Did you think Britain was still a free country? Think again. Big Brother isn't just the title of a trashy TV show you know. You can view the ad here. We don't think you'll be offended.
