Tax free cars: don’t you just love ’em.

Well not many tax free Range Rovers still run around these days but PPC’s Kevin Leaper still uses his. A stripped out 1972 model it’s short of creature comforts but the Rolls Royce Shadow seats he’s fitted help the ride quality.

Kev’s had to put a new chassis on it, rebuild all the running gear and weld up the body to make it possible, so it may be tax free but it’s not been without its own costs.

These days it runs a 3.5–litre EFi engine and four-speed box with overdrive -whine drive.

The rest of the PPC office have been waiting for it to go bang for a couple of years now but just like Ken Livingstone it just keeps whining on and on.
